I’m a member with a friend who might enjoy one of our events. May I invite a guest?
Yes, guests are welcome! Please contact Laura to determine if there is space available. For prepaid events, members or guests may purchase a Guest (non-member) ticket via PayPal button on the event listing or via personal check, details on submitting payment will be in each listing.
How do I know if there is still room to attend an event?
When an event is sold out, there will be an update added at the top of the event listing on the website. Please contact Laura if you would like to be added to a wait list.
I can’t recall if I signed up for an event — will I receive a confirmation or reminder?
After an RSVP is submitted, members will receive a confirmation email from Laura, whether it is paid or no charge. Please save this for your records. If paid via PayPal, they will send a confirmation email as well.
I replied Yes for an event, but now will not be able to attend. How do I change my RSVP?
My plans have changed and I can’t attend a pre-paid event — is a refund available?
Refunds are available in some cases. Please see the each event description for details. In general, group ticket purchases (such as reserved seating concerts, prepaid museum tours etc.) are not refundable unless a paid replacement can be found, as the tickets are usually purchased from the institutions shortly after the funds are received and often the venue does not issue refunds.
I see there is bad weather in the forecast for the date of an event — does that affect anything?
It’s not typical, but weather can affect our plans. Forecasts are checked carefully prior to each event. You’ll be contacted by email with as much notice as possible if plans need to be modified, postponed or canceled.
