OF ART AND CRAFT
October 26 – December 26, 2017
Exploring the question “What defines Craft versus Art – and does that division have meaning?”, this exhibition will feature nine artists working in “traditional” craft media – fiber, clay and glass – who artfully unite concept and technique. Participating artists are Jocelyn Braxton Armstrong, Emily Barletta, Susan Eisen, Norma Minkowitz, Kathleen Mulcahy, Ellen Schiffman, Josh Simpson, Phyllis Kudder Sullivan, and Adam Waimon.
I encourage all to visit the Flinn Gallery’s website to examples of work from each artist.
In addition to the opening reception, there will be a variety of programs with this exhibition, please write to Laura to RSVP or indicate interest in any of the other events.
