GREENWICH POLO AT CONYERS FARM:
June 26 – Butler Handicap: First Match
It’s Polo season at Conyers Farm in Greenwich! The season starts in early June, with matches on weekends throughout the summer and early fall.
Let’s grab a bottle of wine, some snacks, sides and small bites to share, and head out to the polo grounds to enjoy this dynamic sport among friends on a warm summer afternoon –
There are also food trucks, and food and drink concessions if you’d rather pack light and enjoy the offerings.
We can meet at a nearby parking area and carpool to the grounds for lawn seating – please plan to bring a portable chair, a hat (if you’re a hat person) – and plan on stylish summer attire for an afternoon to remember.
Once we have a final attendance number, I’ll message the group about cost if you’d like to share a ride – it’s $40 per car, typically 2 to 4 per car, so we can figure out the cost from there and pay upon arrival at the parking area.
If you’d like to drive and arrive on your own, here’s the link to buy tickets: greenwichpoloclub.com
Hope you can join us that day – if you haven’t seen polo played live, it’s quite an experience!
