ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Claude Lelouch is a Paris-born French film director, writer, cinematographer, actor and producer. He began his career with reportage as one of the first people to film daily life in the Soviet Union. He also filmed sporting events such as automobile racing and cycling. From his first feature film as a director in 1960, his credits now add up to nearly 50 films. He is most known for A MAN AND A WOMAN (1966) and LES UNS ET LES AUTRES (1981).
ABOUT THE FILM:
Antoine (Jean Dujardin) is a charming and successful film score composer who goes through life with humor and lightheartedness. When he travels to India to work on a Bollywood adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, he encounters Anna, a woman with whom he has nothing in common, but who he finds devastatingly attractive. They start an unexpected relationship. Claude Lelouch’s film received its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.
