Looking for a good reason to take a leisurely drive to the beautiful Westchester countryside? Art Show: Bedford is now open at St. Matthew’s Fellowship Hall in the charming village of Bedford, New York. Now in their 47th year, this is a show that invites the submissions of artists who live within a 250 mile radius. All proceeds go to local charities, 14 local organizations are benefitting this year.
Guest Curator this year is Christopher Brescia, and Show Judges are Kim Henrikson, Executive Director of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Cybele Maylone, the Executive Director of Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, and Peter MacGill, curator, art historian and President of the Pace/MacGill Gallery in New York City.
Show dates are January 25, 26, 31, February 1, 2, 11 am – 5pm all days. Special events include Coffee and Conversation with Kim Henrikson, Director of the Center for Contemporary Art at 10:30 am on Friday, January 31, 2020 and Collectors Evening: “Fakes and Forgeries” with Samuel Sachs II on Saturday, February 1, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
